Don't Hold Back + Spicy Margaritas

So.Much.Fun to visit with a former classmate of Forest Lake High School -- Therese Molloy.

We were dreaming of sandy beaches and sunny weather when we sipped on our Spicy Margaritas!

Therese shares her wild journey of being featured as a singer, voiceover talent and actor in studios and on stages in Chicago, New York, Los Angeles and in her current city of Minneapolis.

We chat on the topic of balancing the mom life and overcoming the anxiety of memorizing lines and being on stage in front of large audiences.

1 cup of tequila (We used Casamigos tequila)

1/2 cup fresh lime juice

1/2 cup simple syrup

Splash of sparkling water

1 jalapeño

Rim Salt:

1 tablespoon chili powder

1 tablespoon sea salt

Make the jalapeño tequila. Slice jalapeño and add to the tequila and let it sit at room temp for 15 minutes to 1 hour. (If you like extra 'heat' let the jalapeno marinate longer and leave the seeds in.

Wet the rim of the glass with a lime slice. Mix chili powder and sea salt and coat rim with mixture.

Add jalapeño tequila to shaker along with fresh lime juice, simple syrup, sparkling water and ice.

Shake. Pour. Garnish. Enjoy!
